Sol Fence FAQ
Is Sol Fence and solar fence supplies only available in your area?
No! We plan to train fence companies and installers on Sol Fence installations nationwide. Our solar fence supplies benefit everyone and will be available to any certified installer.
I don't see any performance data on your solar fence supplies - how do I know it works?
We’re about to release comprehensive performance metrics, but we can share that our systems are generating significant power even in vertical installations. The data we have from Sept 1 to Dec 31, 2024, shows that the fence can produced 337 kWh of power and offset 4.82 tons of Co2, which is equivalent to planting 179.77 trees.
The Sol Fence is new - should I be concerned?
While Sol Fence was founded in 2024, we’re built on a 50-year legacy in the fence industry. We helped establish the North American Fence Contractors Association, setting industry standards for professionalism and ethics. We’ve designed our solar fence supplies and system to be serviceable by any qualified fence contractor or solar professional, ensuring you’re never locked into proprietary maintenance. Plus, our components are built to last 25+ years.
Won't this look ugly in my yard?
We love this question! Our fence actually has a sleek, modern aesthetic that many people surveyed prefer over traditional fencing.

Both sides generate power, though one side is slightly more efficient. The best part? If you move, over 90% of the fence can be easily relocated, or you can convert it to a traditional fence using the existing posts.
